Overview
Exciting News! TODA Live has introduced an Adobe After Effects plugin. Though it currently lacks audio support, Adobe After Effects is a highly adaptable tool for motion graphics, enabling the creation of stunning animations and the seamless integration of both photos and video content.
Our Adobe After Effects plugin shares its installer with the Adobe Premiere Pro plugin. This means when you download the latest version (version 2.0) of the Adobe Premiere Pro plugin, you gain access to the TODA Live Transmitter panel in both Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro!

Requirements
- Download and install the TODA Live Desktop App
- Download and install the TODA Live Transmitter Plugin
- Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud
- Download and install Adobe After Effects
Feature Guide
Step 1: Install the TODA Live Transmitter Plugin
- Open Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Navigate and click Stock & Marketplace, located on the left-hand side of the window.
Navigate to and click Plugins.
Utilizing the plugin search bar below, search for “TODA Live”.
Next you will then see the option, TODA Live Transmitter plugin. Select Install.
Open or create a new project in Adobe After Effects.
In the menu bar, click Window.
Hover your cursor over Extensions, and select TODA Live Transmitter Panel.
Next, you will be prompted to update the TODA Live plug-in to complete the installation process. Select Update, and the TODA Live panel will redirect you to TODA Live’s Freshdesk app download page.
Download the bundle that corresponds to your operating system, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Quit the After Effects application and open it back up for the system to get updated.
Enter the credentials linked to your TODA Live account.
You will see the list of available Rooms in your system.
Click Connect to open the settings of the stream you’ll be sending.
NOTE: You will need to be the Host of a room to modify the default settings.
Once configured, click on Start to send the video feed directly in your TODA Room.
NOTE: You will be unable to change settings during an active session.
Click the "Stop" button to end the video feed.
You now have a live stream present in the Media Tab, and accessible through the HCP.
TODA TIP: When using multiple devices, configuring your Playback settings and choosing the correct devices for your stream can be quite useful.
Here's how to do it:
1. Simply navigate to After Effects in your menu bar.
2. Select Settings and locate Video Preview.3. Next, enable Mercury Transmit.
- This feature is disabled by default on After Effects.
4. Select "TODA Live Transmitter" in Transmit Device Playback.
5. Click "OK" to save changes.
Interface
The most essential features are displayed on the panel including Video Resolution, Frame Rate, and Bitrate.
Now, you can easily view your Adobe After Effects project directly in your TODA Room!
Known Limitations: Adobe After Effects Plugin
- Audio: Switching to an audio track with a different sample rate while a stream is running, may lead to audio disruptions.
