Adobe Premiere Pro Plugin: Enable Rec. 709 Color Space Matching

Overview

Our Adobe Premiere Pro plugin, available on both Mac and Windows, features enhanced Rec.709 color space matching capabilities. When streaming content from Premiere Pro, viewers in the room will experience accurate Rec. 709 color representation across browser and desktop applications, ensuring consistent visuals in every stream.


*To utilize this feature, your display must support the Rec. 709 color space.



Supported Adobe Products

  • MacOS Requires Adobe Premiere Pro 24 or later
  • Windows: Compatible with all versions of Adobe Premiere


NOTE: Color correction only applies to the “Playback” stream in the TODA Live Transmitter panel.


MacOS 


  1. Open an Adobe Premiere Pro project. 


  1. From the top bar of your device, navigate to Window, then select Lumetri Color from the dropdown.


  • The Lumetri Color Panel will appear on the right-hand side of the Premiere Pro window. 


  1. Next, select the Settings tab.


  1. Under the Preferences dropdown, enable Display Color Management, located within the Display Color dropdown. 
  • Display Color Management can be found within the Display Color dropdown.



  1. Then, navigate to the Project dropdown, and set Set Viewer Gamma to 1.96 (QuickTime).



  1. From the Sequence dropdown, make sure the Working Color Space is set to Rec. 709. 
  • You will see Sequence or Source Clip dropdown, depending on what media will be streamed within TODA Live.


    




Windows


  1. Open an Adobe Premiere Pro project. 


  1. From the top bar of your device, click on Window, then select Lumetri Color from the dropdown.


  • The Lumetri Color Panel will appear on the right-hand side of the Premiere Pro 


  1. Next, select the Settings tab.


  1. Under the Preferences dropdown, ensure the Display Color Management is disabled.
  • Display Color Management can be found within the Display Color dropdown. 



  1. From the Sequence dropdown, make sure the Working Color Space is set to Rec. 709. 
  • You will see Sequence or Source Clip dropdown, depending on what media will be streamed within TODA Live.
