Streaming: TODA Live Create Sessions (Versions 24.04 and Below)

NOTICE: With our recent update to TODA Live (Version 24.05), we have consolidated “Create Sessions” and “Screen Share” into one "Share Screen" button.

Overview

TODA Live Create is an innovative multimedia platform that provides access to cutting-edge tools for next-level interactivity. With TODA Live Create users can capture live footage from production locations, stream video editorial over-the-shoulder sessions, and leverage Unreal Engine for gaming and virtual production. 

Enjoy the flexibility to manage up to 16 simultaneous live streams at 30 FPS in 4K, record your room sessions, connect multiple cameras, adjust inputs, and utilize global scrubbing capabilities—all within an intuitive interface.

Requirements

Download the TODA Live App

Access TODA Live Create via the TODA Live App 

1. Once you’ve signed in and have reached the TODA Homepage, locate the room you would like to join. 

• The  panel will appear to the right of the window

2. Click Join once you are ready to move forward. 

3. Next, in the TODA Live Lobby, edit your Name, Title, as well as your audio and video settings, and background preferences, prior to joining the meeting room. 

4. Click Join to continue.

Start a TODA Live Create Session

1. To start a TODA Live Create Session, simply click the TODA Live Create icon, located on the bottom right hand side of the window. 

• A dialogue box will appear requesting which contents of your screen you would like to share with the room. 

OR 

To exit the dialogue box, simply click the TODA Live Create icon again.

2. Next, click the screen(s) and camera(s) you would like to share. 

• If you have multiple screens or cameras, you may need to scroll up or down to find a particular view. 

• The selection(s) will then appear highlighted, indicating which screens will be shared with the room.
  
  

4. Prior to sharing the screen(s), choose the audio source for each selection. By default, the audio source is set to No Audio.
   
   

5. Now, you’re ready to click Share and display your screen(s) with other participant(s).

        OR

Select Cancel if you do not want to share, and return back to the room.

You’re all set to collaborate with TODA Live Create!

Why Can’t I Open the TODA Live Create Session?

If there is an issue opening up TODA Live Create, the TODA Live Create session icon will turn red, and you will be prompted with a dialogue box with a link to additional instructions for how to quickly fix the issue.
