Overview
Admins can easily enable or disable Room Settings and User Sign-In requirements by accessing the Room Settings gear located on the upper right-hand side of the Admin Control Panel (ACP), allowing for convenient customization of meeting rooms using the toggle feature.
TODA TIP:
You can easily enable or disable features in the Room Settings
by clicking the toggle next to the desired action.
The on/off toggle is a switch that allows you to turn an action on or off. It usually has two states: "enable” and "disable”. You can switch the toggle between these two states by clicking on it. By default, all toggles are set to the “disabled” state.
When it's in the “enable” state, the action it controls is active.
When the toggle is in the "disabled" state, the action it controls is inactive.
Room Settings
Enter Room on Mute
Enable the Enter Room on Mute feature in the Admin Control Panel to ensure a noise-free meeting environment. This setting automatically mutes participants upon entering the room, removing the need for Admins to manually mute them individually.
NOTE: Participants who are already active in the room
will not be affected by the Enter Room on Mute feature.
After joining the room and entering the lobby, participants will receive a notification stating that the Host requires them to enter the room muted. However, if necessary, participants retain the ability to unmute themselves.
Host Required
To enhance meeting security - make it mandatory for the Host to open the meeting room before a meeting can commence, providing an additional layer of control and authorization.
Host Control Admit
Manage participant admission before they enter a meeting room. Although accessible via an invitation link, participants require Host approval to join, enhancing security and maintaining an organized session.
NOTE: Enabling Host Control Admit will automatically activate the Host Required toggle, ensuring the Host is present to approve participant entry.
Private Room
Make your room private. With this option activated, only invited participants will have the ability to join the room, ensuring exclusive access and maintaining a secure experience.
Enforce Single Connection
Each user can connect to a meeting room once, meaning two users with the same account cannot join the same room.
Camera Privacy
Protect your camera privacy with our enhanced security feature. When the camera toggle is enabled, the green light next to your device's camera remains illuminated, even when the camera is turned off. This reduces the loading time when toggling the camera on and off, resulting in a faster response compared to the usual 2-3 seconds delay. Enjoy improved convenience and peace of mind while safeguarding your privacy.
Audio Input
Enable audio for all participants, allowing them to actively contribute, ensuring a more interactive meeting experience.
Video Input
Activating the video input feature allows participants to engage and be visible to others during a meeting.
Audio MCU
Enhance your hosting experience for meetings with over 25 participants!
Within Room Settings, Hosts have the ability to optimize bandwidth usage by enabling the Audio MCU (Multipoint Control Unit) toggle, which reduces all participants audio to a single connection by merging multiple audio feeds in the cloud.
NOTE: This option can only be enabled when the room is empty.
User Sign In
Require Sign In Information
Require all participants to enter TODA Live credentials before joining a room, only allowing authenticated users to join.
Lobby
Enable your TODA Live room Lobby to access features like Name, Title, A/V Settings, and Video Preview.
