Overview
The TODA Live app is now available on Apple TV! Participants can sign in to TODA Live's app on Apple TV to join meetings and enjoy real-time media viewing. This is particularly advantageous for edit-over-the-shoulder sessions or for delivering video presentations on a larger screen.
NOTE: Users who join a TODA Live meeting through Apple TV are considered “watchers”, limiting their participation to spectating media.
*Some features of the TODA Live app for Apple TV may vary depending on your TODA Live license type. To upgrade your TODA Live account to meet your needs, contact your Customer Support Manager or email help@lmmv.com.
Requirements
- Apple TV (Apple TV 4K or HD models)
- TODA Live Credentials
Download the TODA Live App to Apple TV
TODA TIP: Using your Apple TV remote (Also known as Siri Remote), hold down the Siri button to dictate your entry.
Starting on the Apple TV home screen, navigate to and open the App Store app.
Next, using your Apple TV remote, type in “TODA Live”.
Click the TODA Live option.
On the following screen, select Get, to begin the downloading process.
Once the app has finished downloading, it will appear on your Apple TV home screen.
Sign In to TODA Live on Apple TV
Once you’ve downloaded the Apple TV app, it’s time to open the TODA Live app, sign in and join a meeting.
Using your Apple TV remote, enter your TODA Live email and the corresponding password.

(Optional) Enter an Environmental URL.
Click the Sign In button to continue to your TODA Live Homepage.
Join a TODA Live Meeting from Apple TV
After logging in and accessing the TODA Live Homepage, you’ll see all your TODA Live meetings. The Apple TV user will appear as a participant in the room's Participant list.
NOTICE: To view all TODA Live meetings on your Homepage, users must use TODA Live (Version 24.11 and Above) and Apple TV (Version 1.0.5 and Above). Earlier versions will only display active meeting rooms with at least one user present.
Using your Apple TV remote, navigate to and select the meeting room you would like to join.
NOTE: A white and red lock icon will appear on Private Rooms, meaning only invited participants may join the meeting.
Next, click Join to enter the meeting room.
From here, you may be required to enter a 6-digit verification code that will be sent to your email (This is applicable for environments that have 2 factor authentication enabled ).
Upon entering the room, participants using Apple TV will be able to view media once the Host initiates playback.
OR
If media is not yet displayed, participants will be prompted to wait for the Host to initiate playback.
When a room is closed by the Host or Co-Host, the Apple TV user will see a 'Closed Room' notice. For details about why the room ended, please contact the Host directly.
Update Your User Profile from Apple TV
No need for a desktop or mobile device, update your profile directly in Apple TV!
Starting on the TODA Live Homepage, use your Apple TV remote and navigate to User Profile, located on the top right-hand side of your screen.
Here, you have the ability to delete to your User Profile.

Known Limitations: The TODA Live for Apple TV
- Displayed Content:
Video content in file formats, such as .MP4, and TODA Live Create Sessions can be displayed on Apple TV. However, file formats, such as PDF or JPEG will result in a black screen.
The Apple TV App only supports viewing media presentations. Meaning participants' videos, whiteboards and annotations, or shared screens will not be visible.
- Playback Settings: Rotate, playback speed, and title positioning are currently unavailable on the Apple TV App.
- Closed Room: When the Host closes the room, Apple TV viewers will not receive a notification that the session has ended.
- Streaming: RTSP is not currently supported (as of July 2024)
