What is a TODA Live Room?
TODA Live rooms provide a seamless virtual collaboration experience through the TODA Live video conferencing platform. Within these spaces, users can leverage an array of features and functionalities, such as high-quality video and audio conferencing, screen sharing, file sharing, messaging, whiteboard, and much more. Additionally, participants can be sorted into various groups or breakout rooms for concentrated discussions and teamwork.
The rooms are accessible from any computer, smartphone, or internet-enabled device, making it effortless to connect and collaborate with others, no matter where you are.
Joining Your Room
Now that your room has been created, let's join!
1. Within the TODA Live Homepage. Hover your cursor over the meeting room you’ve just created.
2. Click the Join button, located on the right hand side.
You will be directed to the TODA Live Lobby on the next page.
Filtering Meeting Rooms
Filtering can help you quickly find specific meeting rooms. You can narrow down the results to match your preferences.
1. Starting from the TODA Live homepage, click the View dropdown, located on the top left-hand side of your page.
2. From here, you will be presented with various filtering options. For example, if you only want to find meetings scheduled for today, select Today and find those meeting rooms with ease.
Sort Meeting Rooms
Sorting your meeting rooms can be just as helpful as filtering them. You can sort your meeting rooms from old to new, upcoming meetings, among other options. This allows you to quickly find the meeting room you need based on the sorting preference you choose.
1. Starting from the TODA Live homepage, locate and click the Sort dropdown, located on the top left-hand side of your page. A dropdown menu will appear, presenting the system's default sorting options.
2. Select the desired sort option that aligns with your needs. For instance, if you want to sort the list based on meetings in the near future, choose the Upcoming option.
Now, your Rooms will arrange themselves based on your chosen sort criteria!
Searching Meeting Rooms
Searching for your meeting rooms can be a quick way to find past meetings. To make it easier, you can search using the following options:
- Name of Participant
- Room ID
- Room Name
- Participant Email
1. Start by locating the Search icon on the TODA Live homepage, on the top right-hand side of your page.
2. Once you click on the search bar, it will expand, allowing you to start typing in your search query.
Homepage Room Panel
As a Host, the Room Panel is your go-to hub, located on your Homepage, for managing room privacy settings, inviting participants, and reviewing recordings and media files.
1. To access the Room Panel, open your browser and sign-in at http://connect.todalive.com.
2. From here, either select a previously created room, or create a new TODA Live meeting room. For the purpose of this article, we will navigate through a previously created room.
NOTE: Meeting rooms with a purple label: you are the Host or a Co-host
Meeting rooms with a blue label: you are a Participant
3. Click on a previously created room and the Room Panel will appear on the right-hand side of your window.
In the Lobby
The TODA Live Lobby is where you can take a moment to fine-tune your video and audio preferences before joining the meeting room with other participants. Here is what you can do:
Update Your Details
1. Enter your preferred name.
2. Enter your personal or professional title (optional). These details will be displayed to all meeting participants.
3. Join the room.
A. Click the Join button to enter the room.
OR
B. Click Join the room with Whiteboard Companion if you would like to use an additional device to collaborate, draw, write, and upload images during your meeting.
Invite While in the Room
1. Within the meeting room, click the invite plus icon located at the top right corner of your room - a dialogue box will appear.
2. Enter the email of the participants you’d like to join and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
3. Click the Invite button to send an invitation.
How Many Participants Are in the Meeting Room?
You can easily determine the number of active participants in the meeting room:
1. Go to the TODA Live Homepage, connect.todalive.com.
2. Locate the meeting room you’d like to view.
3. On the right-hand side of your room selection, you will find two numbers displayed. These represent the count of participants present in the room and the count of participants invited to the room.
Example: Count of participants present in the room (left number, ex. “0”) / count of participants invited to the room (right number, ex. “3”).
How Many Participants Can be Added to a Room?
The maximum number of participants allowed in a room is determined exclusively by the type of license associated with your account.
Connect: 50 participants
Connect More: 100 participants
Create: 100 participants
Create Event: 1,000 participants
