Overview

Enhance your TODA Live experience by sharing audio while utilizing the Share Screen feature. When using a Google Chrome browser,  this feature is ideal for users who rely on audio-heavy applications for presentations, engaging demonstrations, and collaborative work during virtual conferences. 

NOTE: To use Share Screen with audio, ensure that Screen Recording permissions are enabled on your device's operating system.

Web Experience

Windows  

1. Starting in a TODA Live room, navigate and click the Share Screen icon, located at the bottom center of the window. 
   • A dialogue box will appear.

2. Next, choose to share a Chrome Tab or your Entire Screen. 

• Ensure the Share audio toggle, located on the bottom right of the dialogue box, is enabled.

3. Click Share to present your selection, or Cancel to return to the room.

• Your screen, along with isolated audio for the selected elements, will be displayed into the room. 

4. To exit Share Screen, you can either:

1. Click the Share Screen icon directly from your TODA Live room.

OR

2.  For Google Chrome tabs, click the Stop sharing button, located under the search bar. 

macOS

1. Starting in a Google Chrome browser, paste the following url: 

chrome://flags/#mac-loopback-audio-for-screen-share.

• Press the Enter key on your keyboard to initiate the search.

2. Next, locate the highlighted text Mac System Audio Loopback for Screen Sharing and set it to Enabled from the corresponding dropdown.

3. Return to your TODA Live room.

4. Next, choose to share a Chrome Tab or your Entire Screen. 

• Ensure the Share audio toggle, located on the bottom right of the dialogue box, is enabled.

5. Click Share to present your selection, or Cancel to return to the room.

• Your screen, along with isolated audio for the selected elements, will be displayed in the room. 

6. To exit Share Screen, you may either:

1. Click the Share Screen icon directly from your TODA Live room.

OR

2. For Google Chrome tabs, click the Stop sharing button, located under the search bar. 

Now you can concurrently share audio from both a window and your microphone, to create seamless discussions within the room!
