Overview

Easily connect your ATEM Blackmagic software to your TODA Live room for enhanced streaming capabilities. Enjoy the transmission of high-quality audio, video content, and a professional broadcasting experience.

To leverage the full functionality of ATEM Blackmagic with TODA Live, ensure that your computer meets the following requirements:

Hardware Requirements 

• Desktop or Laptop computer with Dedicated GPU (ex. NVIDIA, AMD)
• Apple Silicon Mac (ex. M1, M1 Pro, M2.)
  
• ATEM Blackmagic
• Visual Studio Code (May be Required)

Operating System Requirements 

• MacOS Monterey (12) or Above
• Windows 10 or Above

Feature Guide 

Connect TODA Live with ATEM Blackmagic

1. Start by creating or joining a room you are the Host of, from the TODA Live Homepage.
   
   
2. Next, navigate to and open the Host Control Panel.
   
   
   
3. From the Media tab, click the Feeds subtab.

4. Select RTMP from the protocol drop-down list.

5. Click the plus (+) icon.

1. The newly created feed will be added to the Feeds list. 

6. Next, click the drop-down arrow located to the right of the feed.

7. From here, click the Copy Link icon next to the Channel ID. 

1. Paste this link into ATEM– see below for Steps in ATEM.  

Configure ATEM Blackmagic Software Control 

1. From ATEM Software Control, navigate to and click the Output tab, located on the right-hand side of the Control panel. 

2. Find the Key field and paste your TODA Live Channel ID into the designated space.

3. Locate the Platform dropdown, and select TODA Live.

4. From the Server field, select your TODA Live environment.  

NOTE: If you are unable to find the TODA Live environment you're looking for, try the following steps: 

1. Locate the Streaming.xml file that contains the server settings. 

2. Open the file in Visual Studio Code. 

3. Here you will: 
    a. Add a <server> tag. 
    b. Update the <name> field to the TODA Live environment. 
    c. Change the <url> to the feeds RTMP Server URL.

4. Return to ATEM Software Control, navigate to your device's top menu bar, and select Stream. 

5. Click the Load Streaming Settings option. 

6. Select the Streaming.xml file. 

5. Next, click the Display Status checkbox.

6. Select the ON AIR button.

“ON AIR” along with a timer will illuminate, indicating that the Live Stream has started. Additionally, the “ON AIR” key on your Blackmagic hardware will also light up in red.

Stream ATEM Blackmagic in the TODA Live Desktop App

1. Navigate back to your TODA Live room. 

2. Click the Host Control Panel and select the Media tab. 

3. From there, click the Media/File browser subtab.

4. Right-click the feed you would like to share and select Present. 

5. Finally, click Let’s go!

TODA TIP: Having trouble connecting the feed? To get ATEM up and running, you may need to give it a quick restart.

Once everything is completed, your Blackmagic feed will be presented into the TODA Live room!
