Overview
Easily connect your Blackmagic Web Presenter to your TODA Live room for enhanced streaming capabilities. Enjoy the transmission of high-quality audio, video content, and a professional broadcasting experience.
To leverage the full functionality of Blackmagic Web Presenter with TODA Live, ensure that your computer meets the following requirements:
Hardware Requirements
Desktop or Laptop computer with Dedicated GPU (ex. NVIDIA, AMD)
Apple Silicon Mac (ex. M1, M1 Pro, M2.)
Blackmagic Web Presenter
Visual Studio Code (May be Required)
Operating System Requirements
MacOS Monterey (12) or Above

Feature Guide
Connect TODA Live with Web Presenter
Start by creating or joining a room you are the Host of, from the TODA Live Homepage.
Next, navigate to and open the Host Control Panel.
From the Media tab, click the Feeds subtab.
Select RTMP from the protocol drop-down list.
Click the plus (+) icon.
- The newly created feed will be added to the Feeds list.
Next, click the drop-down arrow located to the right of the feed.
From here, click the Copy Link icon next to the Channel ID.
Paste this link in the Blackmagic software– see below for steps.
Configure Blackmagic Web Presenter Setup
From the Blackmagic Web Presenter setup app, your Web Presenter hardware should appear in the list, click on the settings menu icon on the device you want to use.
Find the Key field and paste your TODA Live Channel ID into the designated space.
Locate the Platform dropdown, and select TODA Live.
From the Server field, select your TODA Live environment.
NOTE: If you are unable to find the TODA Live environment you're looking for, try the following steps:
1. Locate the Streaming.xml file that contains the server settings.
2. Open the file in Visual Studio Code.
3. Here you will:
a. Add a <server> tag.
b. Update the <name> field to the TODA Live environment.
c. Change the <url> to the RTMP Server URL.

4. Return to Blackmagic Web Presenter Software Control, navigate to your device's top menu bar, and select the Load Streaming Settings option. 6. Select the Streaming.xml file.
5. When everything is ready to go, Select the ON AIR button.
“ON AIR” test will turn red, indicating that the Live Stream has started. Additionally, the “ON AIR” display on your Blackmagic hardware will also light up in red.
Stream Web Presenter in the TODA Live Desktop App
- Navigate back to your TODA Live room.
- Click the Host Control Panel and select the Media tab.
- From there, click the Media/File browser subtab.
- Right-click the feed you would like to share and select Present.
- Finally, click Let’s go!
TODA TIP: Having trouble connecting the feed? To get your Blackmagic hardware up and running, you may need to give your computer and external hardware a quick restart.
