Resolved Issues
- Previously, when users attempted to upload excessively large files onto the platform, the upload in progress would automatically fail after an hour. Now, the token auto-refreshes. This means that even if you upload multi-gigabyte files, they will appear correctly in the media tab in a timely manner, based on the bandwidth connection.
- Standardized terminology across the platform for the following features:
- Local Mute: This feature only turns off the sound locally for the selected tile. It is also accessible to users on the media playback bar, allowing them to locally mute a presented asset.
- Mute: This function turns off the selected user's microphone, but the user can turn it back on if needed.
- Global Mute: Found within the selected media playback menu, this option mutes the video for everybody in the room. Users do not have the ability to unmute when this feature is active.
- Disabled: In the context of microphones, the host can turn off a microphone, but the user cannot turn it back on.
