New Features 

Streaming Settings Tab in the Host Control Panel 

The Streaming Settings tab, previously exclusive to the Admin Control Panel, can now be accessed by meeting Hosts through the Host Control Panel. 

• Customize the frame rate, bitrate and video resolution of future Create sessions and screen shares.

• Updates to Screen Share settings will impact all future screen share sessions in the room. The same principle applies for the settings specific for Create Sessions. 

• While a screen share is presented and/or a Create session is live, you will not be able to modify settings. 

Layouts

New layouts available in the Host Control Panel: 

• Static 4x4 Layout 

• Static 5x5 Layout

Previously, these layouts were only accessible through the Admin Control Panel.

TODA Create Icon

The Create icon has been updated, and can be found in the following areas: 

• The bottom bar of the TODA Live native desktop app. 

• The Host Control panel as the Streaming settings tab. 

Effects: Virtual Backgrounds 

Upload your own images as background for your video tile. 

Access this feature: 

• In the meeting room Lobby

• Directly within the meeting experience.

NOTE: A maximum of 2MB JPEG and PNG images can be uploaded.

Unsupported Browsers

TODA Live will exclusively be supported by Google Chrome and the TODA Live native apps. When attempting to join a meeting with Safari, Firefox, or Opera, you will be prompted to a warning indicating that these browsers are no longer available for TODA Live meetings.

Deep Links

Deep links are supported when opening links through the Google Calendar plugin, native desktop app plugins such as Adobe Premiere Pro and AVID, and messaging platforms (ex.Slack).

When joining TODA Live through the browser, you will now be prompted to a page that encourages you to use the native app for an optimized experience.

Admin Control Panel

The Video and Audio Settings widgets are now accessible for both Admins and Hosts. These widgets allow you to control:

• Microphone

• Video settings

• Echo Cancellation for audio and video bitrate for video. 

Click on a participant's name in the participant panel to access these advanced features. 

Resolved Issues

• Minor bug fixes.

• Expand option on the video player in the Media tab of the Admin Control Panel is now functional.

• Resolved local mute issues when using the Full Screen feature in the context menu of videos.

• Restricted playback settings (Aspect Ratio and Rotate) for audio assets.

• RTSP use cases now use Media Relay Engine 1.4.0, while RTMP and SRT still use LSRT.

• Fractional frame rates are now supported for Create Sessions.

• All users see the same orientation of the video feed, which is mirrored by default. Users can also mirror their feed with the Context menu directly on their tile.

• The Sorting feature on the homepage is now functioning correctly.

• Implementation of room pagination to improve the upload time for the Admin Control Panel.
